Visiting Provincetown or staying with us at the Harbor Hotel this week? Set the stage for your stay by celebrating 18 years of filmmaking at the Provincetown Film Festival put on by the Provincetown Film Society.

The Provincetown Film Festival began in 1999 as a means to attract economic development to the town during the shoulder month of June. Since then, the festival has attracted millions of dollars to the town and has become one of the country's preeminent film festivals.

Presenting an array of diverse American and International narrative features, short films and documentaries, all while spotlighting unique Provincetown's rich and diverse history. Not only will over 50 films from around the world be shown, the Festival highlights the interaction among filmmakers and its audience through parties and events. Join in on the festivities and embrace the opportunity to interact with festival goers like yourself.

Opening night will take place on Wednesday June 15th, 2016 at 6:30pm in Town Hall, highlighting the film Captain Fantastic.
